New Home

Client Situation 1

The clients had sold their lake property and were downsizing to a two bedroom + loft, Towne Home. This perfectly located home definitely was in need of some updating and home staging. This very busy couple had become overwhelmed with the many decisions that needed to be made and implemented in a very short time period.

The Process

It was decided to remove a kitchen wall, close off an existing doorway and replace cabinetry to suit the new open concept. Once these decisions were finalized we then selected counter tops, backsplash and appliances.

The remainder of the project was purely cosmetic; we redecorated throughout, repurposed and painted the old cottage dining table and end tables. We removed the old carpets and replaced them with rustic hardwood and a new fireplace hearth.

Once construction and painting were complete we hung the client’s substantial collection of art works and memorabilia, to reflect their love of travel.

The Result

The client’s were thrilled with the results and well ready to relax and enjoy their warm and welcoming home, and to begin planning for their next trip.

“Mary Ellen presented an honest appraisal, very professionally, reasonably and quickly, and was always accessible. She has an innate sense of color and her design is a great reflection of her client.”
